Tasked by the client to produce a Ship Security Plan meeting the ISPS Code and Flag State requirements for the fleet of vessels.
The work scope included a review of the current plan and an on-site security audit and assessment of the vessels. The findings from the audit were incorporated into the new Ship Security Plans and submitted to the various Flag States for approval.
The crew was involved in all aspects of the data gathering and audit process as they would ultimately be the people implementing the plan and requirements. This made for a robust document with measures incorporated to both make the systems and vessel more secure while reducing the burden on the crew.
